do contact lenses make your eyes appear smaller or larger?!

Question: Do contact lenses make your eyes appear smaller or larger?
I wondered, being a short sighted contact lens wearer, if contact lenses make your eyes appear smaller/larger depending on if you are short-sighted or long sighted, as with glasses. With glasses short sighted lenses make your eyes appear smaller and long-sighted lenses make them appear larger.

No, contact lenses don't magnify or minify the eyes like glasses do.

The eyeball cannot change size immediately from simply putting on a contact lens. There can be a change in the cornea's curvature from wearing a lens. I can't remember if it was dryness or lack of air that causes the temporary change. But this kind of change is pretty much invisible to the naked eye.

The one thing commented on by many people is how a contact lens wearer appears different with the way the eyelids look and having dark circles around the eye. I have worn contact lenses myself and I guess the expression on my face might look strange at first but most people can't guess usually if there are lenses In my eye.

I hope my answer covered the all of your concerns. If you are planning to try out contact lenses then I wish you the best of luck. Also.I'm sure you will look great in them
