Can eyes be enlarged?!

Question: Can eyes be enlarged?
To specify, I'm talking about the eyeBALL, not that eyelid stuff. My left eye is blind (and it's really blind- there is nothing left) and smaller than the other. It's not that much smaller though. It just seems that given the eye is not at risk- being useless and all- there might be some sort of cosmetic procedure. False eyes aren't going to work, so don't suggest that please- I just have this one specific question, and I realize the answer may be "no". Thanks all. It's a fairly large source of insecurity for me and I'd give pretty much anything in the world to fix it even superficially, because functionally it's dead forever.

Hmm...from my experience and re-reading the wiki article on microphthalmia, I'm going to say outside of stem cell therapy/future transplant possibilities, no. Especially if you have achieved most of your growth, as the eye will not grow any more, even with surgery.

I know with some small children they use an implant/prosthesis to enable the orbit and other tissues to grow as needed as the child does, replacing as needed, but as you seem to be against false eyes, (completely understandable!) that option is out.

If you should reconsider, consult your ophthalmologist and make sure you have a reference to a good ocularist. Currently they are able to achieve a very natural look.

I have included the wikipedia links for ocular prosthesis and for Frank Elstner, who does wear a prothesis in his left eye for microphthalmia.

"because functionally it's dead forever"
sorry, but wanna share the story?

"I'm talking about the eyeBALL"
Surgery is the only way then. Perhaps surgically retract the eye lids, etc
