Finger nail in eye, PLEASE help?!


Question: Finger nail in eye, PLEASE help?
I was cutting my nails and one flew into my right eye, it really hurts soooo bad my mom is really pissy with me cause i asked her if i could go to the eye doctors tomorrow but she said dont be so silly, my eye has gone blood shot btw i can't see the nail but i definitely know it is in there, i have tried everything, rinsing it out with a shot glass of water, i was told that an eye patch would help if i got a scratch on my eye but my mom wont let me, i dont know what to do, what can i do??

you need an antibiotic eye ointment to prevent infection and to sooth your eye.
probably the nail scratched you conjunctiva, don't rub your eye. let it heal

Go see your school nurse tomorrow as soon as you get to school. She will look at your eye and then call your mom to take you to the eye doctor. If your mom refuses - you will have a witness to support you and get you the help you need.

If your eye is blood shot then you really should go to the doctors. Force your mom to take you if it hurts that bad. Or just go there yourself and say you need help.

what the hell is wrong with ur mom even if u are paranoid u should get it checked out
also if you squeeze on place where nail went in u should feel something moving
