Question: Would thinner lenses help?
I have a high prescription and I was wondering if I order thiner lenses, will this get rid of any of the... Image.. distortion or whatever you get from higher perscriptions of lenses?

Depends what distortion you are referring to.

If you mean distortion at the outer edges of the lenses when you look a bit sideways, then yes, a thinner, aspheric lens can reduce that by quite a bit.

Yes, you can get high index, sometimes called "Hilite" lenses. But which one you gets depends on how thick your prescription is. probably not. thinner is just thinner. not necessarily superior optical quality.
