Question: What does a Pre Opp Include?
I am going for a cosmetic surgery which is to straighten my blind eye. I am blind in my right eye and it looks like a lazy eye and drifts. This surgery will straighten my eye so I can control it. (I am FULLY blind in my right eye)
I'm just wondering what kind of things will be included in the Pre Opp appointment.

general medical check up.
routine stuff. dilation to check for retinal problems, pressure check, refractive state, etc etc. probably not much special testing.
FYI if you really are "totally blind" with no vision at all...when those eyes are "straightened" they frequently go back to pointing funny directions. the stimulus for "staying straight" is VISION.
that doesnt mean dont do it...it may help with your cosmesis. that just means dont be totally shocked if later it goes back to pointing a funny direction
