why are my new contacts making my eyes feel dry?!

Question: Why are my new contacts making my eyes feel dry?
Today I just got my brand new monthly contacts but after when I took them out this evening I started to get a sensation of both eyes being dry, like the feeling on an eyelash in your eye. I put some solution in my eye and it seemed to help. Could this maybe from having them in too long since I put them in after 8.00am to nearly 9.00pm or could it be my eyes getting use to new contacts? Will this affect my vision as in blindness? :-/

yes it will. im not going to sugar coat this for you, becuz it happened to me, and i'd like to warn u
i did the same thng. put it in the morning, and got home and nyt and took them out. contacts shud not be worn for mor thn 4 max 5 hours. it myt say on the packagn tht u cn wear them a whole day but thts all bull***. my eyeball was scratchd. til a month ago, i had a white scar in my eye. so im warning you, take care of ur eye, if its feeling dry, thn take it out!! im prety sure tht u alreaid hav beautiful eyes, and u dont need those thngs in ur eye. ur eyes r way mor important. and it does affect vision, as i used 2 wear glasses with little to no power, but now, the power went up so much in 1 year, tht my dr told me if i ever wear contacts again, im riskin goin fully blind soon. (( he did exagerate, becz u wont go blind, but thn ur vision is affectd ))

hope tht u never wear thm again
