White flashes of light?!

Question: White flashes of light?
I see it about 4 or 5 times a day. It's a white point that flashes for a milisecnd then disappears. I've been to an eye doctor and said that apart from slight problems with my left eye( nothing serious) and something that my doctor didn't want to mention in detail(apparently something pushed something behind my eye at birth) it was all normal.

So, any ideas?

it's called god, jk

Go to the doctor and have your blood pressure tested. If it's too high, you can see white stars, or flashes since it causes pressure on the eyes.

yes you had your pressure checked.

if the doc said it was nothing...then you're probably just noticing some entoptic phenomenon

hey,, i saw something from nat geo like 2 years ago and according to it, some people have 'disorders' like for example they hear something particular, they will see some spots which are not really there, when they hear pleasant tunes, they see different colors (but those colors are not in real life)

i don't remember the term for it, but the concept is like that, you can ask other doctors about it and inquire about what i just said.. or you can find/search for that in the net.

:)
God Bless
