My eye is being funny...?!

Now I usually have pretty great seeing. But, my mom says my grandma's dog is giving me allergies. I was with it for about 2 hours and my eyes were all red,puffy,and itchy. my face got red. I took benedryl. The next day, i guess i was rubbing my eyes a bit, but i saw little sparkly things in the air. It happened the one time, but i'm a little concerned...
