Why are my eyes blurry when I wear contacts but not glasses?!

Question: Why are my eyes blurry when I wear contacts but not glasses?
Ok, so about 2 months ago, I started having a blur in my right eye when I wear my contacts. Not completely blurry-just like a small glare. I went to the eye doctor and they really weren't any help. I tried 3 different pairs and all they could tell me was that I must be doing something wrong! (OK!) What I want to know is why is it that I have a small glare/blur when I wear contacts and not glasses?

The prescriptions on the glasses and contacts are the same? I assume this is happening with more than one pair, right? So its not like you have something stuck on it. Maybe your contacts aren't fitting right. I use to have a pair (prescribed to me by an idiot doctor, I switched to a better doc soon after) that didn't fit right and they actually gave me more vision problems than I had without the contacts and no glasses on! If the curve and other measurements are off it can cause you to have air pockets in them and some other stuff like that. So maybe see if they can fit you for a different lens (and maybe consider switching dotors since your doctor didn't seem to concerned about your problem). I would ask them what they think f something with a smaller diameter too...I used to have contacts that were very big around and covered a lot of my eye and I had dry eyes and they would basically suction to me eyes but then the doctor had me try a smaller diameter lens and they are so much better in every way. Good lck!

I think the contact lens fitting is not completely fit your eyeball. It is suggested to visit your optometry to check the fitting.
