Do I need to get glasses?!

Question: Do I need to get glasses?
Okay, I haven't had my eyes checked since grade school. (I'm 25 now.) My vision has always been pretty good, better than 20/20 in fact. However, while my vision is still pretty good, I have trouble driving when the sun is out. It don't have to be directly facing me, I just have a hard time seeing, and the visors don't help. Does this mean I need glasses?

Answers:

If you have light eyes they can just be sensitive to the sun. And only sun glasses is going to help with that. If you think your having trouble seeing up close or far away then you should have a exam. I think I would go ahead & have a exam done regardless since it's been so long.

I work for a Eye Doctor.

What you need to do is get an eye test, it is only about 50 bucks and your insurance might cover part or all of it. At the test, they will determine if you need glasses and check for various eye diseases like glaucoma, cataracts, etc. If they find anything strange, they will refer you to a specialist.

Im pretty sure that happens to everyone, but it could be best just to go get your eyesight checked ou, just incase. But dont worry I really dont think you will need glasses because if you did, things would be blurry, it wouldnt be anything to do with the sun

You probably do not eyeglasses with prescription but only an eye exam can determine that for sure . Try using a pair of sunglasses and see if that helps.

Search eyeglasses4all.com for a large selection of sunglasses.

That is too much time to go without an eye exam, you need one.

Good luck

It sounds like your just sensitive to the light. Maybe try sunglasses, but then go to the eye doctor
