Can eye color change?!

Question: Can eye color change?

Can eye color change because when i was little my eyes were blue from birth till about i was 9 years old then they started changing to blue-green, blue-grey and then when i was 12 years old my eyes were green-grey-blue like and when i was 14 they were just plain green. now at 15 they are turning hazel(green-brown) what could cause this? Do you think my eyes will become like totally brown?

I pretty much had the same thing happen. They were blue-green and transitioned to hazel. I don't know what causes it, but I am almost positive that they won't change brown.

I guess anything is possible. I assumed my kids would have brown eyes because their dad is Asian, but my son was born with blue eyes that went to blue green/green/hazel and didn't go to brown until he was 2 years old. All the books, etc. said kids eye color should be settled by age one or so.

there is a good chance your eyes will be brown because it is a dominant color
