Is staphylococcal blepharitis curable and what other factors cause it?!

Question: Is staphylococcal blepharitis curable and what other factors cause it?
I am currently trying to get rid of this and it's working, but takes forever. One thing I saw that kind of frightened me was someone saying that this isn't curable but my doctor told me that mine was since mine was caused by staph. I remember that I got this from (what I strongly believe) was eyeliner and shadow that I didn't wash off and I have a bad habit of being lazy and not washing my eye make-up off the lids. I asked if it was caused by dandruff or could it possibly be ocular rosacea and said no to both. The other thing I remember was that it's both anterior and posterior blepharitis. I really hope that this can be cured. But what factors could this to happen?

Answers:

It is treatable with the right amount of antibiotics. This type of Blepharitis is more likely to occur in individuals who are exposed to bacteria. Staphylococcal Blepharitis, unlike the other types of this condition, seems to be seen more frequently in women than men. (probably because of the use of makeup). Usually, a doctor can examine the area and will know (without testing) that it is Staph. Blepharitis. If you are unsure of the diagnosis they can do a culture test and tell you for sure. Just take the antibiotics and you should be fine in no time.

My best friend had it a few years ago.
