I'm colorblind. I have questions?!

Question: I'm colorblind. I have questions?
I am colorblind (found out yesterday) so what are colors and how can people define them? what I mean is, how do we know we all don't see different colors? One person's green could be another person's blue, and so on.

Answers:

Well....I tried to answer this question , but i just couldn't
what you're saying is absulutly right , we can only know if people are seeing the right number of colors which is seven colors on the light's spectrum

By comparison.

Ask a non-colorblind person, "What color is grass in comparison to a green-tiled roof?"
He answers, "No difference."
Then ask another non-colorblind person, "What color is that roof in color comparison to green grass?"
He answers, "No difference."

Now you know they both see the same color, at least the same interpretation of green.

It is one of the great mysteries of life. I remember thinking I was the only person that can see in first-person, and that everyone else had third-person view of their bodies in everyday life. I had the most wackiest imagination as a kid, that I haven't even heard stoners say some of the crazy **** I was thinking of.

right. challenging question, and it gets you right into the solipsistic dilemma, if you aren't careful. the basic thing of color blindness is a lack of ability to differentiate, and parts of the spectrum appear in shades of gray.

Even for two people who are not colorblind, how do we know that Joe's understanding of "blue" is the same as Mike's understanding of it?
