Contact lenses. Is this normal?!

Question: Contact lenses. Is this normal?
I bought contact lenses 2 days ago, and am supposed to wear them 2 more hours every day until I reach a full day, so it is 6 hours today. When putting them on, I noticed a little bit of dust on them, so I cleaned them with the special liquid properly and put them in, but it feels a little bit blurry, like there is dust in my eye (I did not have this feeling yesterday), but I see perfectly or at least much better. It's just a feeling. Is this normal and I will get used to it, or maybe I put them in the wrong way or mixed up the eyes?

Also, I am having trouble telling which side is the right one. Any tips?

Answers:

To determine if the lenses are on the correct eye, as soon as you put them on look at a distant object and check the vision of each eye individually.. If both eyes seem about equally clear you have them on correctly. If one eye sees better than the other or both seem blurred, they are on the wrong eye according to the consultant for http://www.coloredcontacts.com. As for the dust or dirt getting on the lens, sometimes this irritates or scratches the eye and this discomfort may linger even after you clean up the lenses.

Hello,

Anytime you are experience discomfort related to your contact lenses you should schedule an appointment with your eye care professional. They are your best resource for health concerns related to your contact lenses.

We recommend labeling your lens case “R” on one side and “L” on the other to help keep track of which lens is which.
