Itchy, watery, sore eye?!

Question: Itchy, watery, sore eye?
Yesterday morning my left eye started to bother me and in the afternoon, it became really red and watery. I tried using my Lid Care (I use it every morning, to help prevent eye infections since my opthomologist told me I had blepharitis a few years ago) and putting in 2 different kind of eye drops (one was artificial tears and the other one was for allergies), but they just made my eye burn. This morning I woke up and my eye was kind of stuck together, but it wasn't too bad. My eye feels swollen (it doesn't look like it is), it's still a little red, I keep having to wipe my eye since it's watery and I keep having to pull/wipe eye mucus from my eye. It also feels like there is something in my eye, although when I look, I can't find anything, and my bottom eyelid, mostly along the lashes, is sore whenever I touch it and sometimes when I blink. I don't know what could be causing this and if I should wait to see if it gets any better by tomorrow or should I go to the doctor? I know my mom doesn't like the idea of taking me to the doctor and she told me yesterday to wait and see if my eye gets better.

Answers:

To go for the obvious is it Pink Eye?

I had Pink Eye once, and it itched, watered, was red, and when I woke up that eye was crusted shut.

Regardless you should go to a walk-in clinic. They really aren't that expensive.

See the Ophthalmologist for further treatment ASAP. You probably have allergic pinkeye and a flare up of the blepharitis which needs more aggressive treatment.
