How would you know if you were colorblind?!

Question: How would you know if you were colorblind?
I took a bunch of colorblind tests and failed almost all of them... My family thinks I'm colorblind and are going to take me to the doctor. How can I cope with being colorblind, and if I can't see colors, what are colors? Can I go blind from this? I don't even know what to call anything anymore... I have never seen a big difference in color, so how have I lived like this?

Answers:

You'll be fine, don't worry. My friend is colorblind and he's fine. When he first found out, he was really upset, but now he's perfectly fine and it doesn't bother him anymore. Yes, he still does get frustrated sometimes because of it, but he always gets through it. If you have lived like this for however many years, I'm sure you can live like for the rest of your life. My teacher was color blind and he never seemed bothered by it.
Ask your doctor these questions, they'll know better than everyone else.
Good luck!

I don't think you have to worry, because only guys can be colorblind. It's a genetic trait found only in males.

Biology, and it runs in my family.

It's nothing. you just can't tell which colors which if every color is thrown at you. Personally I think it's bullsh*t. Apparently colorblind people see better in the dark.

i'm colorblind.

To find out if you are truly colorblind you see a doctor like your parents are doing.
