whats wrong with my eyes?!

Question: Whats wrong with my eyes?
when ever i look at something thats not much of a distance in front of me my eyes go blurry and takes a while to focus and people and things look blurry why?

Answers:

1) You could be long sighted (farsighted)
2) If you go from distance to very close vision work it can take a few seconds for your eyes to adjust to the rapid change and likewise when you go back to looking in the distance it will take a few seconds to refocus
3) Depending on your age (around 40+ years) you start to develop Presbyopia, a condition where the lens of the eye starts to dry out making near vision focusing harder (don't worry if your younger)

I suggest getting checked out just to make sure

Work in an opticians

your most likely far slighted to test stand about a foot away from a sheet of paper with words on it try to read it then sand about five feet away and try to read it if you see better when the paper is closer to you your near slighted if you see better when it is farther away your far slighted after this test call a local eye doctor or ask you normal doctor for recommendations

You are probably farsighted which means your eyes see better at distance than up close. Vision will get more difficult as you age and in time you will need glasses to see clearly without eye strain.

according to the consultant at http://www.coloredcontacts.com

It might be hypermetropy, try to relax your eyes or sleep, if it continues the other day consult a doctor

see an optometrist. you are far-sighted.

I think this is normal. I get that too especially when I look in the mirror for a long time
