Baby becoming cross eyed on medication?!

Question: Baby becoming cross eyed on medication?
My baby is 8 months old. She is on a high dose of prednisolone to combat infantile spasms. She also just started a low dose of vigabatrin and I've noticed her eyes are not coordinating after that.Is this a temporary or permanent side effect? Won't be able to get her checked our for a few days and I'm worried.

Answers:

Why are you waiting?
If this is a sudden change, could you go to a clinic or ER?
Some babies develop crossed eyes, so it could be something else, BUT if it is the medicine, doing something now is less costly in time and money and aggravation than waiting.

A few days is OK, but don't put this off for long.

get that checked out

my advice is to contact a pediatric Neuro-Ophthalmologist
