Does anyone know a contact brand that has prescriptions above -12.00?!

Question: Does anyone know a contact brand that has prescriptions above -12.00?

I recently had to change carriers to Acuvee because Baush and Lomb doesn't go over -10.00 in prescription contacts. And Acuvee doesn't go over -12... I am concerned about being able to find a carrier and I really don't want to go back to glasses? Any help is appreciated.

plenty of places can get you "custom" made contacts in whatever power you need. so no worries there...but those can & do get quite pricey. WITHOUT going custom:

Coopervision's Proclear goes +20.00 to -20.00, and those are cheap. This is probably your best bet
Precision UV goes to -16.00 but they're being discontinued 03/31/11 so thats no good
Sauflon UV goes to -15.00...an underrated lens IMO. cheap & a good lens but hard to find

edit: lasik is not usually a great option over about -9.00 IMO...most people don't have thick enough corneas to get rid of -12.00

I agree. There are others but you are going to pay extra for them. Have you ever thought about Lasik or Visian surgery to get rid of contacts all together? That might be another option for you.
