Question: What's wrong with my eye?! Help :( (picture)?
I'm so nervous.
This was happening to my eye last week. I do NOT sleep with my contacts in and I have had contacts for over a year now with a pair of glasses that I've had since I was about 11-12 years old. I'm now 17.
The brand is Acuvue 2 and I am in love with them. I take them out every single night before bed, and replace them every two weeks. I had woken up [without contacts in my eyes, remember] with somewhat of a bloodshot eye. I put my contacts in that morning and all seemed to be fine, just a bit red. I got home and took them out after school after washing my hands thoroughly and the eye started to feel scratchy, irritated, dry and started getting WORSE. The next day I tried putting contacts in but just couldn't. The bloodshot was getting loads worse so I decided to switch to glasses for awhile and see if it helped. After replacing the pair of contacts, it seemed to get gradually better throughout the week. And that was all last week. My eye was white and back to normal again by the weekend.
I woke up this morning perfectly fine, put my contacts in and went to school. I used the bathroom after lunch time and noticed in the mirror that my eye looked like this. But not as bad. I washed my hands and switched from my contacts to my glasses and it got WORSE.
Now I'm sitting here freaking out because it's coming back worse than before and it seems like the bloodshot/red part is now lining the top of my iris.
Could it be conjunctivitis? I'm not sure.. I looked up the symptoms and I don't have any discharge.. I've had it before when I was little but I remember it being crusty, hard to open your eye, and itchy. It isn't anything like this. I'm so scared I might go blind or something. Help. :(

And I also remove that makeup off every night with regular baby wipes and it has never given me a problem before. If you were gonna ask about that.

i have the same problem it could be that your allergic to something or it could also be the start of conjunctivitis i would seek medical advice if i was you.
you prob cut ur eye taking off ur contacts
