What all do you get charged for when you go see an optometrist?!

Question: What all do you get charged for when you go see an optometrist?
I need to get new eye glasses and maybe contacts but I have no insurance since last year. I want to go but what all do they charge for? I know they've used equipment to look into my eyes sometimes even take pictures inside my eye. Do they charge for that stuff as well along with the glasses and eye contact lenses?

Answers:

go and ask them. they,ll break the charges down for you.

The eye test will probably be in the neighborhood of 50 bucks, an exam/fitting fore contacts will be more. The cost for glasses varies hugely depending on the frame, lens type, options, etc. If money is a major problem try Walmart, also check the flyers in the Sunday paper, a lot of the major chains that sell glasses, have special deals. Once you have a prescription, you can order glasses on line at inexpensive sites such as www.zennioptical.com. (they are others to try as well)

Mm... Hope it helps http://inhut.info/108644/eye-glasses
