I am assuming you are saying you go blind for a few minutes. I feel this is too serious for me to be guessing what might be wrong, but the person who first answered this post is right. It could be many things and the only way to determine what is wrong is to go to a doctor. I would start with an internist first. Not just a General Practitioner.

I am assuming you are going to a physician and not an eye doctor. You do not need to go to an eye doctor first.

With your other symptoms I tend to believe this is something neurological.

But I am not a doctor, so get in to see one.

Good Luck.

Your EYES or your EYESIGHT goes black? I'd have to guess you're a vampire if the iris turns black. If you are blacking out, you could have anything ranging from a brain tumor, concussion, brain damage, torn retina or any other number of things. See the doctor!!!
