Question: Ways to fix a blocked tear duct?
It's been like a day and I think it's either just spring allergies or a small cold, but it's really f*cking annoying and I have to go to school so I want it gone. Since it's not a chronic problem I think surgery is a little extreme right now. Does anyone know of anything at like home that could get rid of it? I'm already taking allergy medication but it ain't doin much. I was thinking about using eye drops but I don't know any good brands that attack this problem directly. Just whatever u think would help besides seeing the doctor because i don't have time and not surgery. Thanks in advance!

A hot/warm compress might help out, but if it does not go away or becomes more inflamed a trip to the eye doc is necessary. Do this a few times a day for at least 10 minutes.
I have the same problem.My eye Dr. tells me to use a hot compress daily for several weeks, this will fix the problem.
