Is it possible to correct or better crossed eyes after the age of 18?!

Question: Is it possible to correct or better crossed eyes after the age of 18?
My friend asked me if he could better his eyes because they are a little crossed so I searched the internet for him and found that most treatment was better if the person is under 17.

Is there still a chance the eyes can look better even if there is a cost in vision?

Answers:

Cosmetically, you can fix them at any age. If you want to improve your vision, unfortunately if you didn't have the surgery around the age of 5, you may not see much better from that eye.

With early detection, accurate diagnosis and proper treatment, the outlook for children with strabismus is excellent. Treatment before age 6 years of age, and especially before 2 years of age, gives the best results.

While the chances may be better before 17 does not mean it is impossible after 17. Simply the younger the better. See an ophthalmologist as soon as possible.
God Bless you.

For people who are farsighted, when they look at things close up, their eyes will naturally cross. Glasses will take care of the farsightedness and the crossing.
