It isn't just a question of age, it depends on when your eyes are ready for it.
Your growth has to have stopped, and your prescription should be unchanged for 2 years before even considering it.
Getting it done too early just means your eyes may change again a few months later and you are back where you started from.
Rarely is anyone ready and suitable for it under the early to mid 20's...usually over 25.
