Question: Computer glasses question!?

okay so i have 20/20 vision but since im on the computer alot and next year ill be working on the computer alot for long periods of time i was thinking i should buy computer glasses just to keep my eyes protected. i was just wondering if computer glasses ALL have a prescription? because i dont need them to focus on the screen i just need them to absorb some of the light rays. so do they make computer glasses without prescription?

please dont say just to take breaks and lower the brightnes bc i already do that =]

You realize there is nothing dangerous about light rays . Light rays are how we see.

There is no UV or any other dangerous rays from a monitor that we need protection from either.

" Absorbing some of the light rays " would only mean you wouldn't be seeing as sharp.

Computer glasses have an anti reflection coating on them to allow up to 99.9 % of the light to get through the lenses , not block them.

Without glasses on...you are already getting 100% of the light rays, which is a good thing.

Unless you require a prescription to see the monitor, you don't need computer glasses....which only try to bring the same comfort as someone who doesn't need glasses.
