But to answer your question... it's not the EYEs that tell emotion.. but rather the features around the eyes.. like eyelids, skin texture, brown shape...etc... because if your remove the lids and brow features... every eyeball looks the same.
I examine eyes in closeup with instruments 5mm from the eye... and I can tell you every eyeball looks the same.
it's the features around the eyes (skin) that can give the imprrestion of feeling.
You can NOT tell that someone has been sexually abused by their eyes.
About 1 in 6 teens have been sexually abused, and you don't see that in the eyes of 1/4 of a high school classroom.
For some people, of ANY life hardship (disease, divorce, loss of a child), their emotions show or they look really tired and worn out and sad especially in the eye region (from crying or sleeplessness).
