Do I need glasses and if so will I need to wear them all the time ?!

Question: Do I need glasses and if so will I need to wear them all the time ?
Recently I've been having trouble seeing things far away but I can see things perfectly up close so I think I may be shortsighted if I am would I need to wear glasses all the time

Answers:

i think that you might need glasses, it sounds like you are near sighted (can see up close but not far away) i have this and yes if you are truly near sighted you will have to wear glasses all the time, unless you get either contacts ( i think you have to wait at least a year) or laser eye surgery (again i think you have to wait a little while to do this.) Make sure you see an eye doctor before you do any of the things that i have said please! i hope this will help you!

my own expirience

You would only need to wear glasses when you need to see far (driving, school, etc.) You don't need to wear them while reading, sleeping, or dong anything up close. I wear mine most of the time when I am in school to see the powerpoint slides and such but I take them off when sleeping, reading something, showering, etc.

Nearsighted

when i first got my glasses i only wore them when i needed to. however now i wear them all the time. its just your preference but its much easier to just wear them and see good all the time then having to take them off every time

If you drive you must wear your glasses,But other than that if you can see objects without straining your eyes then you can leave them off.

you would have to talk with your eye doctor,so people can have their vison re -corrected with glasses and others like me have to wear them all the time...you could try contact if glasses bother you
