Question: Genetics of eye colour?
My mom has blue eyes and my dad has steel-grey eyes, I have two brothers one of whom has blue eyes and the other has a really pretty jade-green colour. I, the unlucky one got dark brown eyes but no one in my family has brown eyes, all of my moms family have blue or grayish eyes and all of my dads family have green, grey or amber...

but you probably got brown eyes coz it's a dominant colour, blues least dominant, green kinda, blue weak. it probably came from a great relative somewhere. (your not unlucky at all!!!)
That's not possible, and don't listen to people here i know what they are going to say, I'm sorry but your mom is a cheater, your dad isn't really your dad, if you don't believe me go do a blood test and then say if i was right or wrong.

and you probably have brown eyes because brown is the dominant ye colour..
basically the main eye colour is brown but some people just happen to take after someone else in the family.. maybe someone in your family has brown eyes ? :)
there are many genes that control the eye color..it's hard to explain it
but why do you think having brown eyes is bad?..lol
