My eyes jump from word to word. Why is it hard for me to read?!

Question: My eyes jump from word to word. Why is it hard for me to read?
When I read long articles or books I find it tremendously hard to stay focused on the sentence I'm trying to read. My eyes seem to just sort of wander. I'll begin unconsciously reading another sentence half way into it without thinking about it, or even reading the sentence backwards from the last word. If the sentences are spaced apart this doesn't happen, but as most magazines and books come in small, tight print it happens to me all the time. I used to like reading when I was younger, but now I never pick up a book because it's such a headache for me.

I don't think I'm dyslexic because the words themselves look fine to me. I just can't stay focused on individual words.

Answers:

I guess you need your eyes to have it checked by the Doctors. It seems so different from normal. Tell to her your concern and she will explain it to you.Further test maybe required to diagnosed you correctly if there's something wrong.
