Constant little white dots around eyes.Any info what they are?!

Question:

Constant little white dots around eyes.Any info what they are?

I've had these tiny little white spots around my eyes for a couple of years now. I went to an optician once who told me they were "milk spots" whatever the hell they are. Anyways a year ago I had the same type of spot in my eye which required an operation to get rid of luckily it went all well. But i still have these peskly lil white dots around my eyes. Most dont grow and most just dissappear but the ones that grow get annoying and need to be removed with a needle. I can get rid of them myself due to being showed how by the doctor that got rid of one 2 years ago*im 15 but i know this stuff*anyways i got rid of 3 just a few hours back the contents is nothing more than a pure white tiny ball, no liquid comes out only a little blood afterwards but that happened at the docs too. They aint spots since there is no way the contents can escape unless i make a lil puncture for the contents to squeeze out so im wondering if its some sort of small common cyst?Their only round my eyes and nose:S

Oddly enough my doctor recommended popping them if they really annoyed me*some do believe me* but to make sure not to get the skin underneath the cyst *the living skin basically* and would NOT leave scars so long as I only punctured the cysts shell...the ones I used a needle to remove last year I simply made a hole emptied the contents and the shell of the cyst shrivelled, dried up and fell off with no marks left. The skin underneath was untouched...should I go to my doctor again and ask for something to remove them...I do have alot of little ones that I'd love to rid.....

I have a few of these myself...yup...they're called milia. If they do not bother you, leave them be. I know you've been told by your doctor that you can get rid of them, but that does open up the skin. Any time the skin is opened, there is a chance of scarring, and since you're getting a little blood out, the chance of infection increases.

For the bad ones you get, let the doctor remove them. Even the ones that grow for a time will shrink and disappear in time. They are common and benign, but pesky skin condition. I have noticed, and I hope this helps you some, that as I got older, I do not have them as much, and the ones I do have have not changed in many months.
