Lasik eye surgery, specific question?

Okay, i am 17 years old, will be 18 in 6 months, and i have worn glasses and contacts since i was like 5, and my prescription hasnt changed in 3 years, and i have a consultation with a doctor whose treated other family members of mine in the past, do you think i have a good shot that he will do it now, or at least not make me wait until im 21 like most places, and even though im 17 i am basically fully done "growing"

i'm 17 too but i'm gonna wait until i'm like 20-22 ish. i really recommend getting it in your 20
s because your eyes continue to develop until then. also your vision doesn't stabilize until your 20s so it won't be as effective...
why not wait a couple more years just to be safe? :)
