12 year old girl getting contacts?
I'm about to go into my last year of middle school
and I really want to go into my last year with a bang.
I already know that I'm getting a new haircut, but I would really want contacts to surprise people. I have had eyeglasses since I was in 1st grade. No Lie. So people in my class are pretty much used to me wearing glasses. When I take off my glasses occasionally to clean them, they say that I look great without them, and i believe them too. But, I do like myself with or without them on. I think I deserve them.
Answers:
The biggiest issue is being able to touch your eye...practice with clean hands and a drop of water. Also, have your parent talk to your eye docter before hand to make sure he will do it for someone your age as some won't.
Also, remember that contacts require alot of care, dont wear them more then your suppose to, make sure you still have a back up pair of glasses, and clean your contacts every day. Good luck,
