Contacts vs. Specs.?
This is a redundant question, but I have not worn contacts because of my parents being old-fashioned and having bad experiences with them years prior to their evolution. Are contacts tremendously better than glasses? I wear glasses right now and they are a pain in the ***, take off, put on. I have an uncle who wears contacts for two weeks at a time; what is the approximate maximum time you can wear them? Are they really cheaper than glasses? Are they that much of a hassle? I still plan to get them some day, but I want to know some of the background info first.

In my case, contacts are cheaper than glasses...this depends on the type of lens one needs.Soft lenses are not really much of a hassle and I think one's vision clarity is better in contacts compared to glasses.There are permeable lenses which can be used for a week or two at a stretch.
However, sleeping with the lenses on can deprive your eyes of the required oxygen and can also make your eyes prone to infections.
