What contact lens do you wear? How long do they last?

I'm shopping around for contact lens. I've worn two different name brands and pairs. The first one is Acuvue 2 week lens, and the second a year-lasting lens called Zero 6. The Z6 hurt my eyes so bad to wear that I had to put them away after three days of wearing them. My doctor said they're too heavy, and my eyes just didn't adjust to them.

I like the Acuvue 2, but that's $33 every three months...and my parents will have me pay for it (which I don't mind). The only thing is, I'm a student about to pay for college with a small job. So I wouldn't be able to afford that.

Has anyone worn the Acuvue 2 past two weeks with positive results? I wore it three weeks and it still felt like new on the 21st day. Could I keep wearing it?

Definitely. They just have to be very clean. My dad's best friend happens to be a very good optometrist. He recommended I clean my lenses with Aosept which is like a little barrel and you put solution in there and it makes bubbles. He said I can keep wearing my contacts for over 2 months. I also use Acuvue 2. Good luck!
