I know the price of glasses frames at lenscrafters but how much are the lenses?!

Question:

Answers:

Prices can really vary depending on location and the particular type of lens!!!!
Regular plastic CR-39 no coatings Single Vision lenses would run around $80. (These prices can vary quite a bit depending on location)
So the cheapest lenses you could buy would be around 80 bucks and it really goes up from there depending on materials, coatings, lens types, and if there are any drill mountings. The higher the index of plastic lens (thinner and lighter) the more expensive. Also if you want an antireflection it would be around an extra $60 and transitions around $100 extra.
If you need bifocal/multifocal lenses the prices from what I've seen typically begin around $120 for standard bifocals and around $200+ for standard progressive/ multifocal lenses and these prices can go up. I have personally seen lenses ordered as expensive as $700.

From what I've seen the average person usually spends around $140-$180 on lenses.
