If you got eye surgery would they still let you be a pilot/in the airforce?!

Question:

If you got eye surgery would they still let you be a pilot/in the airforce?

i have glasses and i want to be a pilot

Answers:

From my understanding and I retired from the US Air Force , pilots must have 20/20 vision without the glasses. It's needed for as much pin point accuracy as they can get.I'm not sure if that's all of the reasons . I never saw a pilot wear glasses, while I was in there . If eye surgery corrects your vision then there's possibility that they would accept you, but work on the corrective surgery for yourself not just the Air Force. The US Air Force is a fine branch of service. There also other fields that are just as rewarding. You could still fly civilian small light planes where 20/20 vision isn't required. Check with the closest Air Force recruiter for more information on that topic.
