Sleping with contact lenses in?!

Sleping with contact lenses in?

okay, i know this is my fault. but yesterday i had a really horrible day and i just threw myself into bed, whilst forgetting to take out my contact lenses like a fool!

will there be any permanent damage?
what can i do? shall i just not wear lenses today or will it not really make a difference if i do or not?

Doing it once is unlikely to cause any serious damage. If your eyes are sore or dry, leave your contacts out until they feel better. If they feel okay, you can put the contacts back in.
