THATS ALL! and didnt told me what to do. soo i guess that i must go to a eye doctor? but i dont know where to find a eye doctor in singapore! can someone tell me?? please i need help. thank you.

Answers:

Hi, obviously, u face a lot of discomfort with your lenses. Question is why are you still wearing them? CEASE WEAR IMMEDIATELY!!!

Normally, when dealing with contact lens related problems, we normally advise our patients to cease wear immediately. If contacts lenses caused the problems, ceasing wear naturally stops the problems.

A GP is NOT trained to deal with specific eye related problems (no offense please). Moreover, they do not have specific equipment like the slit lamp to check the health of the front part of the eye. and therefore.. they usually read such symptoms as infection/ generally swelling and prescribe accordingly. What u need is a primary eyecare provider like an optometrist or an ophthalmologist.

I highly recommend u to book an appointment with your optometrist. A qualified optometrist (NOT optician) please. We need to take a look under your upper eyelids. Foreign body sensations may be caused severe papillae growth (most likely diagnosis at this point). This is caused likely by poor lens fit.

Remember never purchase contact lenses from opticians, optometry students on road shows and optometrists w/o license as it is against the law to do so (look what happened to ur eyes now..)

U may email me if u wish to know where to find a qualified optometrist in singapore
