How harmful would it be to the eyes for someone who has to wear reading glasses!

How harmful would it be to the eyes for someone who has to wear reading glasses but doesn't?
Answers:
if the person in question is over the age of 8...then no harm at all. only eyestrain, blur, headaches, etc.
if the person in question is under age 8 and farsighted or anisometropic (vast difference between R & L Rx), then they are not done with their visual development and the risk would be "amblyopia" or lack of retinal/visual development and possible permanent vision loss
