Anyone went through Lasik before?
Please share your experience esp. with us who never go through it before. Any information will be most helpful for 1st timer.

I had lasik performed 8 months ago, my only regret is that I didn't have it done sooner.
The procedure itself is almost painless (I say almost because there will be some soreness afterwards). You are awake during the procedure however they numb your eyes, you will feel pressure and discomfort but that all.
In my opinion the worst part is keeping up with the eye drops 20-25 drops per day per eye. (different drops too) But in the end my vision went from 20/600 to 20/15 (20/20 is considered ideal).
I paid $2500 USD for the Custom Lasik, I could have gotten it done cheaper however why would you cheap out on something like this? I met with 4 different doctors before I decide on one.
Since then 2 of my good friends and my wife have the procedure performed by the same doctor.
FYI
Spend the extra $200 on the custom lasik, this will prevent the "halo's" that you commonly hear about.
