Does it take a while for someone to get used to a new eye Rx?

I just got a new prescription for contact lenses/glasses and i was just wondering if it usually takes a while for your eyes to get used to them, its been a while so i cant remember :) i can see it just feels weird

Yes, about a week!!!!!!!
If it's not set by then, the lens is not the right one!!!!!!1
