Answers:

When a person has eyes that are two different colors it is called heterochromia iridium. Heterochromia is thought to result from an alteration to one of the genes that controls eye color. This can be an inherited trait, although trauma and certain medications may result in increased or decreased pigmentation in one of the irises. Eye color is a a polygenic trait and and is determined by the amount/arrangement of melanin and lipofuscin on the iris. Basically your eyes just have different amounts of melanin and this causes your eyes to be two different shades. Less melanin= lighter shades: Blue, green, gray. More melanin= browns
Anyways there is not much you can do to "fix" your eye color besides using color contacts.
Hope this helps a bit :)
