Tampons???!


Question: I think ive been getting my period, i'm almost posative, there's brown stuff that looks like blood every 2 months or so totaly random.. but i want to use tampons but i don't know like when or if i can.. I would just try it now but I'm scared that i'll get toxic shock syndrome. when do you use tampons (specifics) thanks SO much

haha tss isn't that common.
when you're first starting your period, it's not always that painful and stuff (cramps, ect), so it could be your period.

there isn't a "time" you can use tampons and a time you can't. i wouldn't recommend using them if you're dry, because then it might hurt.
so make sure you're definetly bleeding to put one in. you just take the applicator and push it out a little, and well. stick it in.

i'm sure there are diagrams online if you need to know how.


they are soo much better than pads, trust me. you shouldn't be able to feel it when it's in.

well you only get TTS if you leave a tampon on for a very long period of time. just take it out and change it every 4 hours and youll be fine. ive been usuing tampons for 8 years and ive never got it.your first 2 or so years of your period is going to be random and irregular.

i don't think you have to worry. you might be about to start soon but for right now i would not worry about. i would suggest not to use a tampon right now. but if you start to bleed use one.
