Late period--What is going on! Please Help?!

Question: 3 months ago, my hubby and I stopped using condoms (our only form of birth control) during both of those months, my cycle came 2-3 days late each time, making them each like 27-28 days long instead of 25 and I also had mild cramps for several days before each period which had never happened before-- And when it did finnaly come, my cramps were almost unbearable. Last month, we started back with condoms again and my cycle was it's normal 25 day length and normal cramps. Any ideas as to what might have caused that? We went off condoms again this month, but now I am alittle worried I am gonna have a late period with horrible cramps. Just curious why this might be.

sounds like you had a miscarrige if you are not using any protection it's very likley and even more likley for it to be a miscarrige if it is your first pregnancy, if you are trying to get pregnant then maybe next time you won't get a period at all ;) but otherwise not using condoms shouldn't affect your cycle

Probably your body has to get used to his seimen actually going into your body as apposed to a condom

if you are under additional stress or your eating pattern or diet has had a radical change, this can happen. also if your husband is penetrating you deeper than he normally would, this can aggravate the cervix until your body adjusts causing lower abdominal and back pain, especially during the time of your period.
try taking ibroprufen during your period for the pain and refrain from using hot water bottles as this will increase the flow. some light exercise (even though that is the last thing you think you will be up for) and the pain should ease.
if you use tampons, use towels for a few days instead as sometimes the flow is restricted and can cause pain too.

it is also a good idea to have a little check on your sexual health, as well as your husband, to make sure that both of you are free from and minor infections that may have had this effect.

also note also, even when someone could set their watch by their cycle, everyone has bad months and good months. it could be just a little glitch in the cycle caused by the production of 2 eggs instead of one. :)
