Bumps and itching on belly during pregnancy?!

Question: I have little red bumps all over my belly that look like pimples.
They itch, but not that bad. Will it go away? I am 33 weeks and hoping this will not hurt my baby. It is Friday eve and I have to wait till Monday to call my ob. Should i go to urgent care and get this checked out or wait till Mon.?

I believe that is "pupps". I had that, too. I think it is caused by the hormone flux of pregnancy. About the only thing that helped me was Aveeno lotion, but your ob-gyn may have something better. I was pregnant a loooooong time ago.

Here's an article about pupps:

At least you know it will go away after the baby is born! YAY! Best of luck to you, your 2008 will be so wonderful. DHW. Report It

  • You will not need to go to urgent care for a itchy belly. No offence, anyhow got to the pharmacy and get some cream for it or a oatmeal bath treatment. My belly itched something terrible when I was pregnant. It could be from the stretching, or a new detergent. Its probably nothing more than a inconvenience to you and wont harm the baby. Don't forget to ask the doctor. Heres a link that may help: http://www.baby.com/view.aspx?pid=197&ci... Good luck
