alopecia

Maybe you are washing it too much...try to do it less often and with a milder shampoo...your scalp is too dry...

I wouldn't think it's a hygiene issue. Try some tea tree oil shampoos. They really help. Also, if it's getting pretty cold where you live, that will definitely do it.

Genetics can play a role in dandruff and an itchy scalp. Tea tree oil helps me keep my scalp oiled and not itchy.

maybe you are washing it too much and drying it out? i am mixed, and have mixed hair, it is dry and nappy like black people hair, but soft like white people hair, so i only wash it say once a week. your scalp needs to be moisturized like any other part of your body. also, i have been told that lice are attracted to clean hair rather than dirty hair. if you wash your hair so much, try to put some grese in your hair, or hair lotion, that will help keep it moisturized.

Itchy scalp is usually caused by dry skin or an allergic reaction to shampoo.

I have a sensative scalp so I use an all natural vitamin shampoo, conditioner, and body wash

Lice. Also--if you have started to use a new hair product recently you could be a little allergic to it, causing a reaction of itchiness on your scalp. It's pretty rare, but sometimes people don't form reactions to certain products until later in use--so if you have been using a product for a while but now it starts causing you itchy scalp, it could just be showing up late.
I'd say experiment with cutting out certain hair products from your daily routine and see if the itchiness stops.
Hope this helps! :)

your weave is too tight...slap some cocoa butter on there

The particual hair shampoo and conditiner might b the problem then again it might be naturally like that?

dandruff and lice
