Should i go to the emergency room now for my chest pain?!

Question: im 17 and a girl, i woke up yesterday at 7pm after a nap and started having this really bad chest pain it hurts worse everytime i inhale and/ or i swallow somthing, i know i probablly should go to the doc. but they are closed.

i took two ibprophen and two anti acid tablets.

what could be causing this pain?
could it be a chest cold?

should i go to the emergency room?
it hurts bad at times i would say the pain is a 6 or a 7 from a scale from 10

Some ideas:

1. Pleuritis/pleurisy. http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/pleuris...
2. Costochondritis. http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/costoch...
3. Bronchitis. http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/bronchi...
4. Pneumonia. Not always serious, but it certainly hurts. http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/pneumon...

Any of the above can be caused by inflammation or infection, such as following a cold. In addition, you may be having symptoms of acid reflux, or GERD http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/gerd/DS...

Pain is your body's way of alerting you that something is wrong. As you have been having this "6-7" pain for 24 hours, you may want to seek medical treatment. If this means an urgent care center or an ER, this may be what you have to do.

Go to the ER now.

You either have a lung infection or your lung is collapsing...If the pain gets worse within 12 hours definitely go to the emergency room.

well your not having a heart attack...but otherwise your description of the pain isn't enough to tell you what you might have, but unless your breathing starts to become hard dont worry too much...might wanna take some cold medicine though or something rather than ibuprophen or antacids.

Could be a bubble, air trapped behind your ribs.
I would definitely call the ER and ask them.

It could be alot of different things call someone like ask a nurse but do go to the hospital!

i think u should.
