ppl would def. care.

use a tampon instead! the pad will get soaked if you go swimming

Don't go in the swimming pool with a heavy period.

Don't use the pad in the pool.

It will soak up pool water && will not be pleasant.

Get hold of some tampons fast. Or don't go.

have your friend stop a store on they way and get some tampons.

do not swim with a pad, that's just gross
use a tampon if you know how, otherwise stay out of the water

If you can, use a tampon. Its best for swimming. If you use a pad in the water, it'll just blow up like a diaper! trust me, use a tampon!

Don't go swimming with a pad!!! They absorb a ton of water and you'll end up bleeding into the pool! Which could turn into a VERY embarrassing situation. When your friend comes to pick you up, ask her if you can stop at a drug store along the way and pick up tampons. They're a bit hard to use at first, but if you read the directions right, you'll have an easy time. Good luck!

You better don't swim.

i would advice you to go to the store and buy tampons beacuase the pad is made to obsorb the blood and the pad would absorb the water

Yes...you will care and so will other people. The pad won't be absorbant once you get in the pool and get wet. So you will bleed right through and get blood all over your swimsuit. Plus, everyone will be able to tell you have your period if the pad comes out while you're in the pool because it won't stay stuck to your swimsuit. Tampons are necessary if you're going to swim. Ask your friend if you can stop at the store on the way to the party to pick up some, or ask her if she has a couple you could have. I would not wear a pad while swimming though...too messy. Hope this helps.

you typically stop bleeding when in water.. but if you talk to one of your female friends that you're really close to, she may have a tampon which would be better, or ask the person picking you up if you can stop at the store on the way to the pool.

use a tampon or do not go in the water, yes people will care

that is so gross you have to use a tampon just get some money run to the store get a small pack of tampax slender tampons and go to beinggirl.com to find out how to insert it or just read the instructions. if your flow is heavy bring an extra and make sure you can't feel the tampon or its not in correctly.
hope this hels and good luck.
