Not all antibiotics messes with all birth controls. Rifampin is the only type that has been shown to have an interaction. The more I read about antibiotics and the pill the more studies I find that say interaction only happens in a small percentage of women and doesn't totally cancel out the effects of the pill. Yet people still warn about using back-up contraception anyway, just to cover their arses.

You're meant to use back-up for 7 days after finishing the antibiotic. You stopped on the 5th and condom broke on the 12th so that's 7 days. If you've taken all your birth control pills right then I'm sure you're fine.

Here is a really good page that explains it: http://pregnancy.lovetoknow.com/wiki/Ant...

If it's been a few days you can't take the morning after pill. There's nothing you can do but wait and take a test in a couple of weeks. I'm sure you'll be fine.

If you had sex then yes, theres a chance that you can be pregnant. No birth control method is 100% effective and there is a possibility that your birth control didn't work. Your best bet is to take a pregnancy test about two weeks after intercourse.
